You will lead residential sewer installation projects while training and mentoring apprentices. This role combines technical field execution, customer interaction, and team leadership in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Field Execution: Perform sewer installations, excavations, pipe bursting, relining, boring, and site restorations to OSHA and local code standards. Customer Service: Evaluate sewer systems, present project plans based on approved estimates, and answer customer questions clearly. Apprentice Mentorship: Guide and train sewer apprentices on technical skills, safety, and quality workmanship. Operations & Safety: Maintain assigned vehicles, keep jobsites safe, meet performance goals, and use mobile devices/software to coordinate with dispatch and management. Physical Requirements & Working Conditions Perform heavy physical labor (70%+ of the day) outdoors in all weather conditions, trenches, and tight spaces. Stand, walk, bend, and climb for up to 8 hours daily. Safely lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs regularly (team lifts/aids used for heavier loads).
