• Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
• Job Type: Full-time | non-exempt
• Schedule: Weekdays and Weekends; must be flexible with availability

Job Summary

• BrightBase Management LLC is a dynamic and innovative company based in the vibrant downtown area of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
• The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the appearance, safety, cleanliness, and operational functionality of parking garages, surface lots, and associated equipment.
• This position performs routine inspections, cleaning, minor repairs, landscaping, snow and ice removal (when applicable), and assists with parking equipment maintenance to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for customers.
• The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and can perform physically demanding work in varying weather conditions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Maintenance

• Conduct daily inspections of parking garages, surface lots, stairwells, elevators, sidewalks, and entrances.
• Remove litter, debris, leaves, and trash throughout parking facilities.
• Sweep, clean parking decks, ramps, stairwells, elevators, and walkways.
• Empty and replace trash receptacles.
• Clean oil spills and other hazardous materials using approved procedures.
• Report structural issues, lighting outages, water leaks, or safety concerns.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and car insurance.
• Schedule: Weekdays and Weekends; must be flexible with availability

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Experience

• General maintenance, construction, or landscaping experience a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Walk and stand for extended periods.
• Bend, kneel, climb stairs, ladders, and ramps.
• Work both independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment

• Outdoors in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, wind, and snow.
• Around moving vehicles and heavy equipment.
• Flexible availability - During weekdays, weekends, evenings, holidays, and emergency callouts as needed.
